Plant seeds of peace. How, you ask? One way is to bring inspiration of and conversations about peace to your community by hosting a Peace Pie Mandala Project. The process is simple, profound and, most of all, FUN! The benefits to your community are truly a blessing, for building a community on a common, heart-centered foundation of peace encourages the realization of peace on a global scale. Especially important is embracing and encouraging the individual’s interpretation of peace. Diversity is the spice of life. Then, by combining it with other interpretations, a unified picture of peace is created. The end result is everyone gives input and their ideas are treated as valid contributions to the intended outcome of peace in our hearts and on our blessed earth.

This project lends itself well to many community groups such as schools, churches, women’s and men’s circles, peace groups, spiritual groups, family get-togethers and, like the Cambria Project (see Being Peace), a group of friends wanting to make a difference in their lives and community. There is no limit to who and where this project can be taken. Also encouraged is public display of the finished Peace Mandalas in local art galleries, libraries, bank lobbies, etc. This promotes additional feelings and inspiration of peace when the project is shared with the community at large.
